Staff workers make "niandoubao", a kind of steamed bun stuffed with sweetened bean paste, in Huanzidong Village of Pingxi Township in Siping, northeast China's Jilin Province, Jan. 24, 2018. In 2015, Chen and some female villagers in Huanzidong founded a professional cooperative to make traditional snack "niandoubao". They learned each other's good points for common progress and standardized ingredient selection, proportion and making skills. The annual output of the cooperative reached 400 tonnes, with output value of three million yuan (about 469, 535 U.S. dollars). Workers here can draw a salary of 2,500 yuan (about 391 U.S. dollars) a month. In 2018, Chen planned to upgrade storage method and on-line sale platform of the cooperative. (Xinhua/Zhang Nan)
